Meet Dr. Daniel Vaden

Dr. Daniel Vaden began his journey to Chiropractic while in undergraduate school in TN where he studied nutrition and human performance. He said some chiropractors on the radio were talking about the causes of disease and natural ways to become healthy. “Suddenly I realized that the principles of Chiropractic truly resonated with how I feel about health. One of my favorite quotes is: ‘Medicine is the study of disease and what causes man to die. Chiropractic is the study of health and what causes man to live.’ Chiropractic isn’t just about an adjustment; it’s about a lifestyle.”

Like for many other his first visit to a Chiropractor was a bit scary. He didn’t know what to expect, but was excited to see what would happen for his health. “After the explanation and my first adjustment I knew this was the profession for me.”

Dr. Vaden moved to Marietta, Georgia to study Chiropractic at Life University where he immediately became involved in several technique clubs on campus. In February of 2011 he met the founder and developer of Torque Release Technique, Dr. Jay Holder, which began the start of a great mentorship. Dr. Daniel earned an advanced proficiency certification in this technique, wrote the curriculum for the first Torque Release Technique Course offered at Life University, and conducted a significant amount of related research as a part of the research track scholarship. While in school Dr. Daniel served as the President of the Torque Release Technique Club and became a Fellow of the Holder Research Institute in 2013. Some of his research can be seen here: https://www.torquerelease.com/pdf/61.pdf

According Dr. Vaden one of the most fascinating things that he has been given the privilege to do is to connect people’s brains to an EEG and observe how chiropractic adjustments change the brain! The study of addiction is central to Chiropractic as the spinal cord is directly related to human feelings of happiness and wellbeing. Addiction creates a chemical break down in that pathway. The developer of chiropractic believed that some day we could empty prisons and addiction facilities with chiropractic. This is what led Dr. Vaden to study addiction and perform a 3-month study on the effects of chiropractic care on brain function and addiction outcomes. Dr. Vaden holds Diplomate Status in Addictions and Compulsive Disorders (Board Eligible) and certification in Auriculotherapy by the American College of Addictionology and Compulsive Disorders.

Dr. Daniel Vaden Will be joining us May of 2016. We are extremely excited to welcome him to the Rimrock family and we hope you'll join us in our excitement.
